As manager of Arete, Joe is involved with many project-related tasks from pre-construction through certificate of occupancy. With a background in design build, general contracting, and a strong network of design professionals, contractors, & vendors, Arete is a single point of contact for preliminary budgeting, conceptual to permitting design, value engineering, & construction.

Over his career, Joe has held the position of project superintendent, project manager, owner representative, estimator & procurement specialist; often handling several of these roles on multi-million dollar projects.

Prior to construction management, Joe began his career as a carpenter. Several years of working hands-on in the field produced a passion for building, a blue-collar work ethic, an eye for attention to detail and an understanding of construction feasibility.

Real field experience combined with a Bachelors degree in construction management was a catalyst for transitioning to project supervision and project management.

Joe’s entrepreneurial drive led him to start Arete Construction Management in 2020, producing top quality facilities for clients across New England.
